Our Feed Mix
So I thought I would make this little post and tell you all about our feed mix!
It has taken literally months to perfect our feed mix and get a blend that all our rabbits love!
Since it has been a highly requested topic on my Facebook page and when people buy a bunny/ies off us I thought this would be a perfect post!
We have also started selling our feed in various sizes (find all the details and prices at the bottom of the page!!)
Our mix is made of a few different brands of feed.

Hygain Country Vital Rabbit Breeder and Grower Pellets:
Price and where to buy:
I also buy this one from either Animal Tucker Box Mornington or Derwent Park. It is $30.50 for a 20kg bag.
Details:
I actually cannot find a website to tell you what they say about the product. But basically it is a pellet form of food, that has like one part of the basic needs for your bun. Is is lower in sugars and fats compared to Peckish Rabbit and Guniea Pig pellets and other generic pellet foods.
Ingredient Composition:
Vegetable Protein Meals
Lucerne Meal
Lugume Hulls
Wheat
Barley
Oats
Lupins
Beans
Ric Bran Oil
Di Calcuim Phosphate
Calcium Carbonate
Hysine
Methionine Sodium Chloride Bio Mas
Selpex
Organic Selenium
Yucca Schidigenra Extract
Vitamin and Mineral Premix.
Why we love it and include it in our mix:
As I stated above it has less fat and sugars in it compared to other rabbit feeds out there.
I use to feed Peckish Rabbit and Guniea Pig Pellets until I found this one, I also tried Barrastoc and Jack Rabbit I think it is called and the rabbits just wouldnt eat it so in the end I had to chuck it away.
Top Crop Premium Horse Cubes:
I couldnt find a photo for this one online but it is in just a large white bag with dark olive writing.
Im pretty sure it is a mix made in Tasmania also which is cool.
Price and Where to Buy:
I buy this one form Animal Tuckbox Mornington and Derwent Park also, it costs $22.50 for a 20kg bag.
Details and Ingrediet Composition:
This feed is just simple little mix I and the rabbits love. It is sort of half crushed luceren/mixed chaff cybes wuth loose lucern, oats, barley, maize, lupins, sunflower seeds and conola oil in it. The rabbits love it so its a cheaper then buying just small bags of lucern chaff.
Why we love it and include it in our mix:
I love this beacuse the oats are awesome for packing on the wait in kits and good for keeping pregnant does healthy, plus it has sun flower seeds in it and they are wicked.
